It provides protection against physical damage of vehicle or injury caused to the driver due to traffic collisions. Vehicle Insurance is purchased for road vehicles. The cost of vehicle insurance depends on what type of vehicle insurance you buy.

TYPES OF VEHICLE INSURANCE:

Fully Comprehensive Auto Insurance:

Fully Comprehensive Auto Insurance is the most expensive type of vehicle insurance. This insurance insures the policy holder by all means. When you have this insurance you need not to show fault to claim in case of any accident. Some insurance do not offer full insurance so one must read the insurance policy carefully before purchasing this type of insurance.

Third Party, Fire and Theft Insurance:

Third Party, Fire and Theft Insurance covers the Third Party risks, theft, and damage to your vehicle caused by attempted theft and fire. This insurance is popular for those who have paid their auto loans but still have sentiments attached to their autos.

Third Party Insurance:

Third party insurance covers the damage caused due to an accident if you are found to be in fault and hit a third party. It is also the cheapest type of vehicle insurance.

Specialized Car Insurance:

Specialized Car Insurance is the insurance for classic cars and specialized vehicles. Insurance companies offer higher rates in this type of insurance. For purchasing this insurance you need to show other documents, processes and conditions of the vehicle. One drawback that classic car insurance has is: there is a limitation to the number of road miles you can drive in any given year. So, policies must be checked briefly before buying the insurance.
